-A European Handbook- from MPI

[Chapters to read: 1-4, 7, 12, 14-15, 18, 20, 24-25, 28 & 30 (= 14 chapters)]

Now, how would you like to work around these chapters?

To what degree would you like to study the language in each chapter?

We could translate every single line and page or merely trying to grasp the major contents in each chapter…
We need to find a formula here that we could all work and live with while studying the contents of this book. We should have finished this book by the end of April.
After that we will spend some time on planning a conference, based upon the pocket guide Crisis or Conference
(This pocket guide should be your companion.)

Catering  & the catering industry will follow after meetings & conferences.

Week #??: Chapters 1 & 2, pp 9-36

Groups of students will focus on, and present, certain areas (pages) each week.

Each group can arrange how they will work with the rest of the class while presenting and commenting on the contents.

In some instances we will have to do things in writing and in some other instances we will discuss and report only orally. Interaction may also be a good way where, for instance, each group can ask questions while presenting their area of interest.

Now it’s all up to you, the students in each group, to start preparing your presentation. [Our homework covered pp 1-36 this week.]
